A drum is the best thing a coon trapper could buy/make

Riverrat--agree wholeheartedly with your observation on the #3 dls. Just can't get everything down the slide wire with those big double longsprings hanging onto 'em. Mink and 'rats especially. I run a multiple day check and expect things to drown. Sorry to hijack the post but. I wanted to add that I have been running the #2 bridger alot less tangles bout the same jawspread . Mink an rats dont have to go down the slide the weight will do them in . I ran the extended checks as well.

As crazy as this sounds as this sounds I loved #3 dbl longs for coon trapping with drowners, as well as #3 herters coils. Never got into them much for yotes. x2 no pull outs and alot a two foot catches on my end using that type of trap. They will hold anything that steps in them from a mink to a coyote/beaver. Amazing how many more extra non targets a guy gets using the right equipment.

What is your go to food and curiosity lure. We all know that Castor rocks but it pays to have a few tricks up your sleeve.
I have allways liked Woodchipper and Iowa Gold. Going to try a few new ones out this yr on the line and with game cams.

I cant tell the difference between the duke 4 and bridger 3 as far as the trap goes. I do not care for the center hook up on the duke too much binding.

If a bank gives you any chit about the check and foriegn funds you show them where it says the check is drawn on an american bank. I dont care where the company is located at they check is drawn on an american bank, so its american funds.
I tried that , no luck
and being that I dont trust banks I will never have 5 gs in any account at one time. so thats out gonna look into the direct deposit though .

I bought it because "Rich" was selling it and to support him because he is a friend..... I was impressed with how the video was done (no BS) and learned a few things that were beneficial to me making it well worth the money. I recomend VERY FEW videos as most were made to trap more trappers than fur..... I recomend Rich's Rat Video. x2

I use a 40,000 BTU diesel burner. Next yr the plan is to have an outside wood burner and mostly burn my coon fat. Been giving all my extra fat to K9 this yr and he is having real good luck with it in his outdoor wood burner.
