Sure have! I have put some real bottom feeders in prison and am happy to do so.

Theres the 32 year old man who video taped himself having sex in all the ways you can ahve sex, with a six year old girl on multiple occasions. He is rotting in prison. I hope he dies there. He was a meth dealer we were buying dope from, and the dope case evolved into the other investigation.

Then there was the guy cooking dope in his trailer with his 3 year old little girl in the same room. She got to breathe anhydrous ammonia fumes while watching Blue's Clues on TV. Hope he rots in prison and never sees his kid again.

I don't pick much on small scale pot guys, but there was the guy that was toking his bong, and then putting his mouth over his infant babie's mouth and nose, and blowing the smoke into the babie's lungs. I'm sure he is just a nice guy who is misunderstood.

Then there was the 8 year old little girl who's dad liked to play a game called "sexy" with her. She showed us with the dolls how the game "sexy" is played, it's just like you play it with your wife. Hope he rots in prison and hell.

Then there is the guy who shot an 18 year old young man in the head for no good reason, other than to prove he was tough. He will rot in prison, and I'm not losing any sleep over that.

Then there was the guy that inserted the handle end of a hair brush into his infant daughter and caused massive bleeding. Not losing any sleep over him rotting in prison.

I could go on and on about scumbags.

Maybe one of these days I will count up the number of people who I have helped beat drugs. You know, those people I don't care about.

I do respect humans for what they are, and the great majority of them are fine people. I also do not wear blinders when I am in the presence of bad people. Several of my competitors do stop by the fur shed every night the first couple weeks of season, and talk with me while I skin and drink my beer. K9 you’ve brought up some wonderful police work and I commend you for that. But this all started about trapping. You posted that many 10 year trappers came out this year “scumbos” I always seem to read we need more people in this sport. You brought up that in police work….that also has nothing to do with trapping, nor does pedophilia.


Let’s face it Iowa has a wonderful right of way; anyone has access to that right of way to trap just as much as the next guy whether you like it or not.. If gear is getting stolen then it’s time to change the way the one traps these areas for coon. If you trapped during the boom I would imagine that you have some tactics up your sleeve to keep theft at a minimum.

HappyP that’s fine we need more law enforcement but were talking about trapping not drug raids or letters of achievement in that field.

I was referring to someone who makes his living off others , similar to how bishop did, but not thru the instruction circuit. relax, the water always finds it`s own level and it always flows downhill. just like bishop, this guy will eventually wash out too. they always do.

I think most experienced trappers are all just a little guilty of taking on a prima dona attitude by looking down on the novice trapper as "lazy" and "morons" based on the manner in which they conduct themselves.

With that said, perhaps it's our fault for not leading them down the right road. Your point about the hypocrisy of looking down on the novice trapper at the same time we discuss recruiting new trappers is taken.

Perhaps we all need to shoulder a little responsibility in helping these new trappers find their way down a better path instead of being so judgemental of them. I plead guilty as charged.

With that said, I think you are reading more into K9's post than I did. If you knew K9, you'd know that he doesn't fit the "prick with a badge" mold. Far from it in fact. Considering the fact that he has worked with some of the worst of the worst (pedophiles), I'm surprised his attitude towards humanity is as good as it is.

Consider this Marky Mark, pedophiles are usually the first to become "prison bitches". Most murderers, drug lords, theives, and other criminals feel the same way about pedophiles as I do. K9 has worked with the lowest forms of human life there is and with that comes the adjectives. He handles it better than I would. I'd probably be sitting in prison for shooting a pedophile.

I know this will appear off subject, but how much of the desired trout oil would sunrender from 50 gal of trout parts retrieved from the cleaning station of a daily fee trout fishing area, I believe it goes to the land fill now. They make wine fermentation locks for the 2 inche bung of a fifty-five gallon bbl. Just curious
