"probably why most guys buy whatever they buy from who ever they buy it from, it works and they like the guy."
Very true.

marketing hype, gives illusion that something is so out of this world good, that he dont want it used close to him, and generates more sales because of that illusion. ya gotta admit, he is a master of the hype game.

I always wondered if they really enforced that policy, or just hype tactics. Like if you lived 75 miles away and placed a $500 order, would it be refused? Or would they take the money?

ive always wondered when some those old adds would start showin up lol. different topic, powder river paste bait is supposed to be much different than bill nelson bait, sposed to been a government test that proved it superior to many other baits and lure, government is sposed to be buyin in large amounts for their adc trappers to use etc, but a person wonders just how much different it can be as their is only so many ingredients lol, it no doubt smells a great deal different than rks bait, but then plenty of carp juice would account for that i would think.

Well I'm an out of stater and can't get any of Bob's special fox gland lure what's up with that? ;D As for OG I bought "Hoofbeats of a wolfer" this year and it is the best coyote book I've ever seen although I was alittle dissapointed in the fact that the "Mobster" set used so often in his stories which you can only find out what it is if you buy the book was indeed a set I already use but due to his clever marketing had me thinking it was a big SECRET LOL! But the book is good and I can't give you any quotes or what the Mobster set actually is or I'll get sued LOL. Anyone else buy his Badger Gland scent lure? I do some badger control and he is the only one I know of that sells a badger gland lure I got some with the book and it don't smell like the ass end of a badger I can tell you that.....not to say it wont work just doesn't smell like what I thought it would. How much for a pint of that gland lure you use denning bob now that i see i meet the criteria? ;D

I kept my word always, and finally refused to sell it to ANYONE as of about 20 years ago. I had good reason. I was able to make more trapping than peddling my own lure to guys that might be competing with me. maybe mine was no better, but it is very unique and I didn`t need the same smell on sets 5 feet from mine. so I quit selling to anyone and have refused steadfastly to ever sell it again to anyone. and that will never change either. same with instructions, won`t take money from anyone to do it again. and I had over 350 cash paying students in about a 5 year time frame. but same deal, I could make more money trapping with the knowledge I had than selling it and having my own knowledge used against me. think that is all b.s.? then try to pay me any amount for instructionm or lure and see how far you get. mafia set, lol, turd on a trail with a drop of lure and blended trap. sheesh, who`d a thunk a that one, well, I mean besides the thousands of trappers that have been using it for 50 years or more.
