Bobs told me around how much and different types of lure, 5 gal at a crack, he has stashed away. Youd be dumbfounded at the amounts. Some day Im going to stop by and just spend an entire day sniffing. If he used all that lure, one stick per set, he could wipe out the fox to near extinction on the eastern seaboard.

Like IHOP 10% geezer discount flapjack days, LOL. Think my dad has a calender up on wall for all the places he can save a nickle at every day of the week. Get a nickel off a coffee and a quarter off a haircut all on the same street! And only put 2 bits in the parking meter to get it! ;D

I don't think many trappers that have ever written an article or sold a lure didn't endure the wrath of O'G.

Heard the big O in his book update is throwing wrath at the eastern trappers who make claim of catching 1000+ fox in a season. And I haven't even nothin to sell.

Isn't purchasing your videos like paying for information/instructions?
Just different instructional marketing to a broader student base (more $$$) that won't tie you down so you can trap.

hern, when I gave instruction it was no bull chit here`s how to make a dirthole ( in life or a fake sets and no catches for a video). they rode with me to ck my traps. knew exactly the names of the farms I trapped, the exact location on the farms I trapped, the ranchers I trapped on, where the dens were on the ranches. next year one MIKE MCNIECE had sets 5 feet away from mine on almost 100% of my farms in indiana and most of my ranches in wyoming. because of that one snake in the grass I quit. that is the difference, now if you are looking for an argument or to discredit me some how, say in so many words bob wendt is a two face, well, you know. I`ve found out thru rhe video biz, the instruction biz, and the ###( can`t mention anymore -lol) biz that most trasppers are fake con men no good unsavory scoundrels that have no ethics and would sell their mother for a 5 cent piece. so believe whatever you want.

pisses me off too. it`s hard to defend trapping when the bulk of trappers are tresspassing, poaching, acting unethical and illegal in numerous ways, our ### is embroiled in illicit activity, and the numbers in the various state associations and national associations and internet trapping sites are the 10% creme of the crop and it goes down from there. as far as selling their mother for 5 cents, trap for a living just one year k9. quit that job , quit it all the way and trap to support ma and the kids. it will be an eye opener for you. or make a video and see the honesty of the bootleggers and those who would buy bootleg ( all trappers!). you`re a cop, believe any 20 dollar I didn`t know that stihl chansaw was stolen stories yet? yep , pisses me off too thast my brother trappers are like they are. but I can only be responcible for my own actions. learned that long ago.

I wouldn't go as far as saying "most trappers"-
but I will say that MOST of trappings problems- come from trappers.
and I use that term in a loose sense- of people setting traps, being called trappers.
for every animal or trap I've had stolen by non trappers, put 10 in the column of stole BY trappers.
Or how about the "trapper" who insists on setting 220s, in the ditch across from a house that has domestics- or those that leave their traps for days without checking .
I saw a coon in a trap 2 years ago- it was after a snow 2 days before, and there were no tracks going to the set- just a coon. Came back 3 days later- coon still there. I shot and took the coon, and tossed that trap up in a tree. Still there today. Would I ever defend that "trapper"?
To me, to call yourself a "trapper"- you need to be 100% legal AND ethical.
Or don't even talk to me.

that`s what I mean robert and steve and k9, there are few of us and many of them. just the little EXPECTED hike in prices this year on rats was an eye opener. the hi western cat prices and previous hi otter prices showed some real dirtbag behavior from otherwise decent folk also. flashback to the fur boom of the late 70`s. if it happened today I`d quit trapping. wouldn`t even consider staying in it. this ### fiasco has me this ( . ) close to washing my hands of all trappers too. but you guys and a few others keep me on the right path in life.
