My mom is Catholic, and dad is a Lutheran, Bryce. When I visit I take turns going to each church. The services are very similar.

Yes they are and especially a Wisconsin Synod Lutheran service or Missouri Synod Lutheran Service. I taught our neighbors in Faith Sunday School Class to our 10th graders for about 4-5 years. We visited over a dozen churches of different faiths in our area, Catholic, Methodist, Greek Orthodox, UCC, Church of Christ, Alliance churches, Baptist and many others. Every year the students were surprised at how similar our Lutheran services were to the catholic mass. All the other churches were Protestant other than the trip to the Jewish visits that were not every year. They found it hard to believe that we were closer to the Roman Catholics than most other protestant services. Interestingly enough the Wisconsin Synod Lutheran Churches (very strict Lutheran) were the only churches that would not let us attend their services.

Good morning! I have not been here for a year or two maybe. I am pleasantly surprised to see this topic being discussed here. God's word should be discussed often and always with reverence. I see that the pot is never still here. Thank you and God Bless.
