When you state that Fox "hires the other side" then to me you are stating that you feel that Fox takes the more conservative position and you think that is a non-biased position? If there is a Fair and Balanced approach there should not be sides, just persons commenting with their views. In a way you are stating that they have hired some token Libs to add some difference to their broadcasts.

Bryce of course fox is right leaning I am not dumb Yet they give the left side time and spend money on their payroll to give them airtime which they really wouldn't have to do. They are closer to fair and balanced than any other cable news network, that is a fact. Notice I said cable news network. Kirsten Powell and others get a lot of election coverage time and she is on many mother shows giving the left point of view along with the others Fix has on the payroll. if you and others want to see them as token libs so be it, many have held hire positions inside the Democratic Party. Alan Colmes a token liberal? You ever listen to his radio show? I would like to see CNN and MSNBC hire 10 each so called token republican minded people and have them on air daily........ Then they could claim more of a fair and balanced programming as well.

Using the term token liberals is Just a way for the media to down play the fact the left gets far more airtime on fox, than the right gets on all the others.
Fox News isn't dumb they know by allowing the other side to be on and voice their opinions if draws more viewers from a large mix, hence the reason their ratings are far better than the other cable news networks that give you 99 percent of the time what the lefts thinks or wants, they speak to their base and the base isn't tuning into them a lot to hear the same chant all the time. That would get old from either side, fox engages more with the other side daily than do the others.

that's exactly what they are- token liberals and are treated as a joke more than an opposite viewpoint. they barely are allowed a voice, and then more times than not its shouted down- and note who always gets the last word.
no, having some uncle tom liberals on, is meaningless in the overall tone and scope of FAUX news.
I don't think any cable show is unbiased, thus I seldom watch any of them anymore

Why don't you contact those networks to see if they have offered employment to Conservatives. Maybe Conservatives are not willing to speak out on a more "liberal" network. At least the "liberals" that Fox has hired are willing to add to the discussion even if they are routinely treated quite poorly by the rank and file commentators. Also it makes sense for a network that wants to leverage their audiences to have contrasting opinions that interact routinely with their big guns. This adds to the enjoyment of the traditional listener that wants another glass.

Bryce money talks would be plenty of right wing people to step up that don't have a show on Fox to get more media exposure for themselves, but I am willing to bet CNN and MSNBC has little interest in hiring such, or we would hear of this in the news it self would we not? Do and so offered so and so a job but they refused such and why?
I doubt the assumption your making is close to reality, what we do know is Fox hires Left minded people and they work for Fox and why? Money, exposure and a voice they feel has merit or they could go to the other side and yes drink the kool aid on CNN and MSNBC as well correct ?
Most is just human nature.

sweet lord- how far from the issue can we go? for heavens sakes- you brought up CNN as a source painting Ferguson with rainbows and unicorns- and since that was pulled out of somebodys arse (simply looking at the majority of clips from those days from CNN shows you your contention is nonsense) I have no desire to convince you of anything concerning FAUX or CNN or ABC and if you think its fair, whatever. That's like you telling me the sky is a different color than it is- you can say what you want speech is free but saying something is so, doesn't come close to making it so. I can verify or not with my own eyes and own brain and that's what I've done here- and you wonder why I say you concentrate on red herrings instead of the issue-
let bring it back- do you think the verdict in NY was correct?

Bring it back? The verdict in NY has what to do with ferguson and the luting and rioting that took place? The fact that race baiters want to focus on how the grand jury was the wrong decision from the get go, the information does not matter is what others have stated.
Bring it back to where?

Wow speechless My post was in reference to ferguson as that is the thread, we could talk NY but that is a different matter all together. Some of NY if we want to go there could be blamed on the high tax rate on cigs and how the local govt increased it force to make sure people we here not selling cigs by the single and the city of NY might be loosing out on some tax revenue. We could talk about the health factor of the man involved, sure he is out trying to make a living , yet he has not learned from the laws as he was arrested prior to this time, we could talk about the fact that his health coupled with the tactics they decided to use might have been different if they knew of his health issues prior to him not listening to police. Hind sight is always 20-20 more to this case far more than the ferguson issue, they are not even close to the same. same outcome but far different ways of getting there...........,,.

TC- go to your nearest mirror- and look in it and say:
lets stay on the original topic" with anything close to a straight face......
the point isn't specific to ferguson- the point is increased police violence, and the increased Militarization of the police- so yes, NY is right on topic so would like your opinion of the locked down choke hold on an unarmed man surrounded by police officers be proper behavior

Tman what happened in ferguson I do not see as police violence sorry, The evidence has proven that other wise............. Militarization of our police? Sure in larger cities where crimes and criminals have changed a lot in the last 20 years, they need to use different methods and have different equipment to handle such changes for the safety of the people in many of their areas. Those are just the facts. Fully automatic weapons, the lack of feeling for the loss of life, the lack of respect for law enforcement and more violent crimes all the time. I gave you my opinion on the NY issue, the grand jury spoke in a state I have nothing to do with. We have grand jury's for a reason correct? Locked down choke hold sounds nasty . his health had more to do with the outcome than the lock down choke hold on it's own, let's not forget he was resisting arrest and refused to be handcuffed as well. The medical examiner later found that a chokehold resulted in Garner's death, but also that asthma, obesity and cardiovascular disease were contributing factors.

the locked down choke hold was not only nasty, but deadly......
so everything that happens outside MO, no longer concerns you?

How many others have been killed by the dreaded lock down choke hold in the US by law enforcement in the last 20 years?
A taser would be no fun either but obviously depts have went to them as a primary weapon outside of deadly force.
Remember the days of the night stick and ASP?
Concerns me ? I have zero control over what a grand jury decides in NY .............

so since you post repeatedly on Ferguson, you must have a lot of control over those proceedings to speak out as you have......
I guess one can watch the NY video and say business as usual so what... or question how a murderer got away

Tman go ferguson is in my state and the results of the actions are well very sad, yet people still want to debate the innocence or lack of it on the police officers account, the evidence clearly shows why he was not up,on charges. he lost a career trying to protect and serve, yet we worry about big mike? I go to St. Louis more than a few times a year, I like the downtown area and I feel safe there, that is important to people that go there for ball games, hockey games, to see the arch etc. I do not want the law enforcement to slack off in that area or criminals will look to seek out more crime, that is just what they do. Second guessing for a police officer in areas like this could add to far,far more officer deaths just the facts. The NY deal again grand jury made their decision based off evidence not race.......... Murder? Really? take out health problems and the fact he was resisting arrest and would not go peacefully into handcuffs? Does the outcome remain the same? I doubt it highly unlikely .Why do I say such? Because show me more evidence of the deadly lock choke hold mortality rate from such holds by law enforcement across the US prior to this case? Then tell me if he listens to the officer and goes peacefully is the deadly choke hold applied? We have a communication and respect problem with the criminal element today far more than a choke hold. I have been stopped by law enforcement I do as they ask, if they tell me to keep my hands on the wheel I do so, if they tell me to step out of the car I do so, no back talk or attitude. seemed to serve me well,in my life.

the evidence in NY? if any man woman or child could look at that video, and not come to the conclusion excess force leading to death was used when it was not needed in any way- then that person is either an infant, or suffers from lack of mental capabilities beyond that of a grape add to the fact new video surfaced showing the ETs gave no medical treatment at all watch the video, and tell me different www.nydailynews.com/new-york/staten-island-man-dies-puts-choke-hold-article-1.1871486
