Well, couldn't resist, I have to throw some thoughts in here. Hopefully they create more thoughts and questions than answers, as the topic is quite interesting.
BW- I was setting up a real nice flat set location for coyotes a couple years ago, when I went to apply the only attraction to the set, which was gland lure, I accidently spilled the majority of a four once bottle right where I was going to place the lure. This was a somewhat runny gland lure, Deception by Graham to be exact. I soon realized that trying to collect the lure back into the jar was going to be a pain, so I simply tossed some larch needles over it and left. Next check produced a nice coyote, interesting considering that you say the stuff repels coyotes.
My favorite catch circle to remake is a badger circle, providing they havn't created the "lunar landing" effect. These badger remakes almost always produce a yote for me in a check or two. Ever try useing this catch circle dirt at a differn't location at a fresh set?
My favorite and quite productive back-up set at a catch circle of a coyote is a flat set with a shiny black turd from the other end of my line as the only attraction. more later, I got to take the family to dinner, Later, Joe

#1, I would have to hear that johns` gland lure was anal based and the % anals/gallon, and not watered down anal. The term "gland" lure could mean anything fron muskrat and skunk in rotton meat to lord knows what. I`m talking stout anals like one would make himself, not commercial lures sold. I`m sure johns lures are as good or better than anyones, but I`m here to tell you no commercial maker uses enough anals due to cost and availability both, so basically none are what I call true coyote gland. Now the biggy, #2 one coyote doesn`t mean squat in the big picture. Catch 1,000 or a 100 , or even ten on a true coyote anal based lure used liberally like maple syrup on a pancakeand then we have some meat and potatoes to talk about.

Bob have you ever tried deception by john graham? it is 100% coyote glands, you can see fresh ground glands, what the poster had must have been an older jar, because the deception I get from John is thick and chunky gland lure. It works. Coyote glands are a dime a dozen these days, you can get good glands from Grawe and caramans coyote gland lure is excellent as well, John Graham catches enough coyotes and knows enough people to keep him in coyote glands for quite sometime. There is zero hint of fillers or turds in his gland lure just fresh coyote glands, heck it smells like a coyote bung hole.
