A average Is what all your rats sold for.
Average on rats $11.05 that's smalls mediums and damage and xxl large the whole gamut of rat grades. So If your country average was under $10.00 bucks you should have sold through the auction house.
Groney offered me $7.50 for my best rats.On this auction those rats went for $14.00

Ok I went back and looked at my LGE NTH GD fal rats They averaged $9.50 I bet you didn't average $7.00 on your large rats. but then again they are probably not as good as WI rats.
I'm just saying a person should take advantage of all our options and not get stuck In this one way country sales rut.

Beav I sold small MO rats for 6.00 across the board, I was shocked to get such a price for those small of rats and being from further south but wasn't going to complain. Don't know how the buyer did with them but I know I got 6.00 ea. Your 9.50 before or after commision?

OK NAFA lists a LGE rat at 13.5" to 15" I would assume from what you posted most of your rats fall Into this grade.
My LGE rats averaged $9.50 my overall average was $11.00 and change so I knocked off a buck from the average and most likely will net a $10.00 average when the smoke clears.
39 That was probably good money for those Mo rats.
It's always the same someone posts they got x amount for their fur then the next guy who didn't do as well jumps up and says well my rats were of poor quality and ran a bit on the small size and were caught the first day of the season.
When the market Is high the grade Is not so tough but when the rat market Is soft then It's Katie bar the door.

When you guys are stating your averages, are you removing all the deductions first?

I did just under 12.00 average for every rat I caught this year so far. In fact I was one cent different on my average today than what I had on the few I sold in January. With NAFAS commission the net price I recieved was $11.12 That was with 6 percent deducted since I am a wfsc member. I haven't heard of anyone getting that anywhere else. Fur Harvesters included.
22.58 on my mink.

Did 12 dollars on 30 very average rats I shipped for fun.Probably got a bunch at home that would do 14.One otter for 125,a bunch of very nice coon a hair over 30.This is all before commissions but you can't complain on the prices.Got a few beaver to sell yet.Wiebkes get most of my fur.I'm surprised there haven't been more buy backs in coon ,they have sold pretty well.I'm sure when the easterns are offered that will change but the coon market for us upper midwest guys looks pretty healthy.

$11.63 average on 229 rats with about 150 of those being fall rats. My bids locally were $7.36 on average.
Coon not so good but still about $4.00 over the bids I turned away so about $2.80 net and I will take the extra $2.80
