You should have just bought a Tallyho and a roll of electricians tape and called it good. ;D

Leonard did you miss the battle between Minaska and Foxpro on another forum about two months ago? It got ugly betweenst the two, got way out of hand, people started making threats of lawsuits then deleting their own post. The Admins eventually shut it all down and pretended nothing happened ($ee adverti$ing $ection of the $ite for detail$)
Maybe there's a new "Bill" in town named "Mike"?

I think that costs something like 12 bucks in Tijuana now. Is Bill making a video of it? ;D

"I think that costs something like 12 bucks in Tijuana now. Is Bill making a video of it? " ------------------------- Mr. Higgins, you just out did yourself with that one. Bill and Steve will both just love ya now. I can see their faces now----

LB, I actually saw "the trifecta" one time. The board (Playing field) was slanted toward Bill's point of view so it wasn't nearly as fun... I hate it when folks moderate ANYTHING much less only portions of a conversation. They had lawyers foaming at the mouth before they shut that one down. Sorry Higgins but I think Bill's last video was more impressive than 60 minutes of suburban threat barks. ;D

I'm certainly relaxed Rich... all good natured fun on my part too. Honest. I just like to see if a guy can take it as gracefully as he dishes it out.

Yeah, I'm relaxed too. In the long history of electronic calls, discussed on the Internet, Bill Martz and his Wildlife Technologies machines have more than likely turned off more potential buyers than they have attracted? You would think he would learn, eventually?
I tried, but didn't succeed in warming up to one of the other high end machines. Mainly because of (some) of the endorsement people they were using; not a reflection on their product. Some of them, what they refer to as "pro staff" (or something like that?), I count as my friends. And, I am sure that they know who they are!
Some, (a very few) I consider to be shameless promoters of their own personality first, and the product secondary. These guys come across (for me) as endorsing anything and anybody for a free caller, or a few bucks. They just want to be famous, perhaps to make a living as a media personality? I don't know what drives them? I admit it.
In any case, I hope my Minaska caller arrives today. No freebee, I paid for it. It appears to represent good value, near as I can tell, and I will submit my evaluation asap? Hopefully, an unbiased evaluation?
Good hunting. LB

LB as of yet I'm no pro staffer for anyone either LOL ;D I give an honest opinion on a product through research, use and performance. The "barn wall" pics mean nothing to me, be it trapping or other as many don't tell the true story behind them!
I think you will be as impressed with the minaska as I am so far. The rain and 45 MPH winds keep me from doing more with it, but in the near future I will be giving it a real work out. So far it is everything I was hoping it to be. I think only time and use will tell if it can withstand abuse, but with a 5 year warranty not to concerned, as I hear Steve and his brother stand behind there products as well or better than others.
