So then those that stand for Hillary are beholden to her standing by her cheating husband and all people on the left are for cheating on your spouse? Get real please.
Putting companies out of business LOL. The left has doen there own good job of such. Tier 4 compliant engines will cost manufactures to close their doors or be bought out, th cost has been in the billions of dollars , a new mower with a 36 HP Diesel engine has gone up in cost by 6,000 per unit in the last 2 years! In order to meet emission requirements some very costly parts and R&D done. That is a business killer thanks to the left.
Ford has spent over 1 billion in order to try and meet standards and it will get worse, then some wonder why vehicle cost keep outdoing wages. They did not go to alum bodies because it was cool , they did it out of need to try and make MPG standards. Which they have yet to meet and pay money for.
Trump in 2016 over Hillary any day all day all month long.

Hillary wins it will cost us all more than. 10-20 bet that is a fact!
Imagine our country being ran by a woman that deleted all of her emails that where govt owned? A lady that stood by a cheating husband time and time again, a lady that threatened some of the ex lovers and used govt powers in doing so? A lady that had under her control the entire Benghazi fiasco? The lady that has been asked to release financial documents for years and has never done so?
Yes far more at stake than 10-20 bucks of our money far more....................

so you won't bet- no surprise there- talk is indeed cheap.
I don't have the time of day for blatant racists, nor their supporters.
He goes too far for any man of decent values.
again, talk is cheap- easy to talk the high ground- another to walk it.

Racist has been the key topic all across the country the past few years has become in vogue again, yet many people of color want none of it. Seems the white liberials are the ones who want to keep those fires stoked, like Daschle and the Indian vote I get it, doesn't make it factual but get it all the same.
The Indian reservations have lost little to nothing under republican control, so Dachles threats to the Indian where unfounded and not based on facts, just like a lot of what is going on today.

Well the pro gun community has the discussion going the way they want it to and I am not stating that is all bad. The discussion we are having is about should there be more intensive checks on buyers mental, social and legal rights to buy guns without any checking and or how big of a magazine is too big or too small or how many rounds can be fired in so many seconds when the real issue from a public safety issue is why do we continue to ask law enforcement to increase their enforcement when we continue to cut budgets for man power and create double edged laws. As long as gun ownership and gun advocates is a huge economic issue like it is here in the USA not much will change. It costs a lot of money to sell fear and gun advocates have the ability to find the funds to do so and those that advocate more rational gun laws don't.

"So then those that stand for Hillary are beholden to her standing by her cheating husband and all people on the left are for cheating on your spouse?"
Why is it different for Hillary's husband than for Trump himself who cheated on his first wife and got his girlfriend pregnant and then decided to marry her? Who knows what he'd do if President. No double standard there. The fact is Hillary has not committed adultery, nor is she racist OR sexist like Trump.

No Hillary is a perfect example of an upstanding citizen. Ok.................. Bill did while as a sitting president and also while a governor of a state. Hillary is weak to think that cat was every going to change his spots. She was willing to accept that for the outcome of being in the big house. Sorry I don't think great thoughts about anyone who cheats on their spouse period. Weak people, who want their cake and eat it too.
Pam you forgot she is a lair and a cheat. Why do you think try young people, are so disconnected from her? She does very poorly with the demographic of 18-25 they are done with the clintons.
Tman 90 percent ? Wow that is a lot. I am sure it is because he is racist just like every other republican who has ran is racist as well good grief....................
You know I heard a interesting bit on Hispanic voters and they say the tide is turning many who have been here for many years are in fact becoming republicans as they move themselves up the salary and education chain and they feel in 15-20 years the Hispanic voters who are legal to vote here in the US will be voting republican In A majority way.

What is so very different about this American election, besides the fact that two people of questionable character are running for the top office, is how divisive it is. It is already nasty and will get worse.
I cannot see the American people rallying behind their new President regardless of who wins.
I think the choice of vice president might temper a few things if the choosing is done wisely.

I agree the VP pick will decide this election.
I agree, it's a sad choice, as they say, the lesser of 2 evils.
Above Tman said something like: Even with Hillary's faults, what an understatment!
In this discussion, I see where there is so much division! It's like it's one side against the other, that's not good. We should all be working for one goal!
Let me run this past everyone: Just say Trump would pick Sanders as his VP pick, Clinton wouldn't have a snowball's chance!
Trump is a smart man, we've got a long way to go until election time, hide and watch. About a month or 6 weeks before the election, Trump is going to unleash a heap of dirt on Clinton.

"Just say Trump would pick Sanders as his VP pick, Clinton wouldn't have a snowball's chance!" I'd put Hillary and Elizabeth Warren up against Trump and anyone anytime.
"Pam you forgot she is a lair and a cheat."
Typical mantra started by mainly the Tea Party Republicans. Repeat something long enough and a certain amount of people will think it's true despite any evidence to the contrary.
In spite of what you may think, Hillary Clinton has been named the Most Admired Woman in the US 20 years in a row! "Clinton is "easily the most [admired] of any woman in Gallup's history of asking the most admired question, six more times than Eleanor Roosevelt," Gallup said."
She'll win :-)
Cheers, Pam

Clinton has been in public life almost all her life- shes made decisions, she has made votes, she has a record. Has she made mistakes? sure- but Benghazi wasn't one of them- anyone that paid any attention to the facts knows this was 100% a rep tactic to tear her down before this election- how many hearings, how many 1000s of hours did congress waste on this- all showing ZERO wrongdoing- and if anyone watched the last hearing- I did- you saw how she made absolute fools out of the GOP
the emails? Bush and his VP deleted 1000s of emails upon leaving office- that after deliberately lying to the public about WMD and the reason to go to war- really, and old guard effort to get them an that almost got my daddy war.
Where was the outcry over those emails? Indeed, TC was ignorant on any of that occurring. why? because it was kitty spit, and is now.
Take our guns? please- gun/ammo sellers laughing all the way to the bank. For heavens sake, we cannot even get a law passed, that would keep guns from people on then o fly list.
you know- yesterday talked to two of my Brothers- both gun "nuts" meaning AKs, ARs, always 3-4 handguns on them at all times- and that's no bs- and they both said- its not guns, its the crazies that buy them- an they both said pass all the laws you want to stop that- as long as they could still legally buy guns, they did NOT CARE. And they both- people that buy guns almost monthly- that if they got to wait a week or more so what?
like they said- they got guns- they don't NEED a gun RIGHT NOW. guns its the guys with no guns..... that suddenly need them NOW?
Justices on the court? Damn right...my nightmare was more like Scalia- no friend to personal rights.
so no- it isn't a choice of 2 bad candidates- literally for the last 8 years- the do nothing GOP has had one thing in mind- do do everything, to pull every trick (I mean for God sakes, members of the Benghazi committee publically admitted- it was done FOR POLITICAL REASONS ONLY)
I mean- if you house is robbed, and a man in a mask tells you it was he...I'd believe him!
Is Clinton perfect? no
but given a choice of her- and a man that is so vile in every word he speaks- now profiling is the way to go- he said those things about any woman I was around- I'd knock him down if he wouldn't apologise. He's a pig. but some people are- but add in the blatent racism that seems to get worse every day- and his idea to give nukes to Japan, and S Korea- and to maybe nuke Europe if needed-
so yes....a real choice.
Bernie and Trump?
to have Trump even think he would get Bernie supporters was and is ludicrous . I supported Bernie, my 1st choice- and let me tell you that ain't going to happen
Bernie would be my choice for vp- Warren my 2nd

In provincial politics in Quebec, many people never vote "for" a person/party. They vote "against" another. The reason is quite simple: one party wants to break up Canada. So the idea is to vote strategically so that the person representing that party does not get elected in your riding.
The result is that you are stuck voting for someone who you might not like or agree with. But the alternative is worse ....
I think that quite a few Americans will be doing the same thing. They aren't thrilled with their choice but they feel the alternative is worse. Sure you will have the Clinton fans and the Trump ones. But there seems to be others that are not really fond of either.
Don't forget that Trump wasn't supposed to get this far. Many people seem to be ready to upset the apple cart because they are fed up of the old boys club in both parties. This gun issue is basically a side show of which many more will be seen.

This will be the first time in 39 years I will not be voting for the president. I can only pray that in a couple of years I can walk up to someone and say...you know what, you got it right. I was wrong.
The moral decay in Washington or anywhere in the US for that matter is simply mind boggling. Sometimes I am ashamed.

"Is 5 dead different than 15 to those 5 families?"
50 dead and 53 wounded in a short period of time is a BIG deal to most of us, not just their families.
"I believe the break up of the family unit is one huge factor." I don't know if I completely agree with that. Seems that most of the mass shooters lately anyway have come from 2 parent homes. I think sometimes it's better for parents to divorce than to have their kids grow up in homes with fighting and unhappy parents.
I think a bigger issue is parents who can't admit their kid has mental problems, or do know it and can't find any help for them. Starting from the Reagan era when mental patients were de-insitutionalized and declared to have "rights" to accept treatment or not, parents no longer have any recourse to get help. You don't hear people saying "But he was such a nice guy" when another mass murder occurs.
Long story short version,I have friend whose 38 yr old son is a powder keg just waiting to go off and there's nothing she or the police can do about it until he physically hurts her or someone else. She's his legal guardian and has tried for several years now to have the state appoint someone else, to no avail. She has a restraining order against him, but he shows up anyway now and then. Ripping down light fixtures and throwing them out picture windows, punching holes in walls and doors, continually calling the police to tell them his Mother won't get him a girlfriend or won't let him marry the druggie he finally got hooked up with and he wants a restraining order or he wants her arrested and put in jail isn't enough. In the past 3 years he's been evicted from various apt's by the landlords about every 4-8 months, don't know where he'll live after this last time as no one in our area will accept him as a tenant. Even the police are worried about her safety. Every time he's been put in jail charged with disorderly conduct and/or harassment or something else, he gets let off by the court with "Guilty by reason of mental defect" and let go. This has been going on for years and it's made her life a living hell. I wonder how many other parents are in the same boat.

Pam that doesn't make any sense at all to me. If your friend has a restraining order against the boy, if he breaks court order, that should be a felony. Nothing to sneeze at, and automatic jail time.
Breaking and entering is a felony.
If she is truly fearful for her life, the 38 year old would only trespass on her property 1 time. At least that's the way things work around here. Sounds to me like Mom isn't pressing charges! Maybe Mom want's to babysit the man forever? More of the "He a good boy" theory.
