Tman I think you missed where I stated not all cops are good but the high majority are, that is a factual statement and doesn't make anyone an angel. It just isn't what some try to portray in the media, protest and rioting in the last few months. Again factual.
Not all military personnel are good, that happens in any walk of life, but I find it cheap that people like Al Sharpton, Holder and others try to make these cases into something they are not for the sake of race baiting. This isn't a black white thing so much as a criminal thing, again factual.

no- what I missed is "some cops should be in jail for excessive force"
but I do get a chuckle out of your view of what facts are..... in your case, you should spell it o-p-i-n-i-o-n

"Some" is what you focus on ..................
"Some" of every profession should be in jail for this, that or the other, the majority go to work and do their jobs.

Law enforcement and military are put Into circumstances unlike many other professions, split second life or death decisions that is a fact. You stated you would not want their jobs, yet complain about those that have them.
As we all know nothing is perfect, the grand jury's have spoken in the cases we are discussing. Nit the norm though by any means, some are convicted and sent to prison who are innocent again the smallest minority. It is the system we use and has served us well overall.

you say something, as it if had any relative value to what is being discussed. of course law enforcement, and the military and for all I know people that harvest crabs from the sea, need to make split decisions.
and the sun comesu p from te east. so/ what does that have to do, with circumstances where cops use excessive force, in far from split second life and death cases?
all anyone is saying, is that at times, cops use excessive force when not needed, and at times this leads to the death of innocents.
but in your all or nothing world, such a possibility doesn't even enter your mind

Sure it does but why focus in on the very small negative when the high majority do their jobs each and every day, for the greater good of mankind?

So what's behind this recent trend to paint cops as victims?
I mean, just because society disapproves of excessive police force?

when an innocent is killed it might be a small thing in statistics but not to that person.
in other words- when excessive force is used- the answer is protest it, speak against it, work to change it, make those responsible to account for their actions-
the answer is to not sweep it under the rug and ignore it
You are bringing up a very valid point- what is causing the public to react against excess force?
