In the Jan NAFA sale I made more off of skunks (the price of their fur plus the essence I collected and sold) than I made on coons. On them May sale, coons really shined compared to skunks. But the look on the lady's face at the Post Office, when you ship essence, is priceless. She asked if I wanted the essence priority mailed? I told her, no, I'm in no rush, you are the one that wants it to get there fast and it did.

Once you make the bait and it is too wet, what do you add to make it thicker?

Why do you feel it needs to be thicker?
If you have an abundance of juice, you can drain this of and either add to your next batch of bait or....put it in a squirt bottle and use as a freshener (or as a liquid bait) instead of rebaiting if a catch is not made by the second check around your line.

I`ve used terre sorb, little granules that absorb like 100 times their volume. it`s used to grow crops in the desert as the only way water will come out of it is molecularly, like plant roots sucking it out. 1 cup will make jello out of a bath tub full of water, or thick mud in a toilet, in case you get into a bad divorce and have to use the toilet at your ex wifes lawyers office. stuff like that, and bait making. you can buy 4 oz packets at most any nusery supply. a.m. leanard in piquay ohio sells it. nurseries use it as a root dip on seedlings. probably some available locally there .

Bob, now you tell me to put that stuff in the toilet of my ex's mouth peace. I haven't made bait, but the reason I ask, is that when I put it in a hole I use a butter knife and it justs makes it easier if it is thick. I have used rk's bait for the last two years and really like the consistence of it. I don't mind putting lure on the the ground, but I like my bait a little thicker. That is the way I like to use it. Thanks,
