I've given a lot of thought about compromise as it pertains to trapping.
Compromise implies that both sides have something to give.
The antis don't have anything to give so is compromise possible?
I think not.
I've made it a policy that when ever some one asks me to "compromise" I ask for something from them. It's been working well.

I hardly pay attention to National politics anymore.
In Nevada the R's took every constitutional office and reversed both houses. Plus the Governor.
The speaker of our assembly is a trapper and the chairmen of both natural resource committees are rancher and gun owner reps.
The interim committees deep sixed every trap regulation brought to them by the wildlife commission.
I don't think I even need to go down there this session.
The antis are in disarray.
I lost one good friend in the election, he was a democrat. The other friendly Democrats survived.

I'm totally against it. You should have to wear a lo jack to drive your car. Same deal.
Apparently no one is buying what hes selling.

I think they should just swap out the indian head on the helmet for a necked woman with tan lines.
Get the sunscreen folks for sponsors.
Not sure that I'm buying the scalp thing.

Makes as much sense as outlawing dogs, which would accomplish the same thing.

The beauty in buying the prepackaged potatoes is that you don't have to purchase your corn syrup solids, maltodextrin, beef flavor, phosphates and other ingredients separately.
Can you imagine how much it would cost to have to but all that stuff yourself? Plus it would be difficult to get the right amounts if you did it yourself.

Perhaps where you are, but not here............ That's really all it takes to make mashed potatoes from scratch, I've never found peeling potatoes to be a particularly difficult or strenuous task. Boiling them takes even less effort, and the act of mashing them takes a minute or so. I can even whip them in the Kitchenaid stand mixer if the mood strikes me. There are whole aisles full of pre-packaged processed foods I walk right past in the grocery stores on my way to procure fresh, raw ingredients. Look at all the extras you get in.............. Tyson® Seasoned Beef MeatloafINGREDIENTS: Beef, tomato puree, bread crumbs (contains bleached wheat flour, dextrose, yeast), water, green bell peppers, onions and less than 2% of the following: caramel color, corn syrup solids, dehydrated onion, dehydrated parsley, dextrose, garlic powder, high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, modified corn starch, beef flavor (contains salt and gum arabic), natural flavor, paprika, parmesan cheese (part-skim milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), salt, sodium phosphates, soy sauce (naturally fermented from wheat and soybeans, salt), spices, sugar, tomato paste, torula yeast, vinegar and whey.

Jefferson, Central, and Sacramento would be better if they used the crest of the Sierra as a natural boundary. I wouldn't mind having Alturas to Bishop as something different than San Fran and the extreme coast.

The Lake Tahoe crowd had introduced this infection to Nevada. What is it about the arrogance of these people that think that everybody should think and believe like them?

Yeah, I hit one at an obscenely long range once, it went down and got back up and took off.
I remember one that I shot with my 22-250 with a varmint tipped bullet that just splashed on the coyotes shoulder, watched it in the scope surprisingly enough.
I'd trade the few that get away for the ones that I don't have to sew up though.
If I was just worried about killing them I'd use my .300 Win mag though, it shoots better than my 22-250.
Although I remember one that I shot with it where the bullet just whizzed right through and left the same hole going out as going in.
