Just to let folks know that my Youtube channel “Seldom Fales” is back by popular demand. I’ve reworked and republished over 80 of my trapping videos. Because I heard so much positive feedback from my subscribers, I will also be making and publishing more videos as we get closer to trapping season.
I will continue to NOT ask for subscribers or “likes” and though a viewer may find my videos educational, I do NOT make them for instructional purposes.

I still don't understand how that works. What do likes and subscribers do for a owner? Why don't you want them?

I still don't understand how that works. What do likes and subscribers do for a owner? Why don't you want them? If a channel owner gets so many subscribers they get $$ and commercials. The “likes” are just a viewer saying he liked viewing a video. I’m just one of those people who don’t like to ASK for somebody to like something. I enjoy getting “likes” as anyone would for something they’ve done or made though.

I see. I knew people could make money doing it, I just didn't realize that's how it all worked.

I think you have to have 1000's of subscribers to make any $$. I remember the CoonCreek fella made a video about it last year. I think he was about ready to quit because of the new rules. I don't think I'll make even 1000 and that's OK.
