Seldom, or anyone else. Have you ever tested different urines against each other. Like 2 different brands of coyote urine is what I'm asking.

I got some Wendt style pee. That is the strongest pee I have ever been around. I thought my other source was good but no comparison.

To really know a person would have to do testing just like you would any other lure or bait while under a camera. Probably more like a gland lure is tested at ground level but with a measured amount of each urine and no visuals whatsoever. Pretty easy to do.

a note on the pee you mentioned Marty-
when I was in the lure business, I bought urine direct from many of the big guys, including his. Delivered at convention in dirty, dusty 5 gal pails. Lots of sediment in the bucket. Same with most when buying bulk. I saw no different in his, than in any that were selling meat fed urine- and at the price $32 a gal MY price for a 5 gal bucket..add in a bottle and label and I had about $34 per gal in it and then needed to mark it up. I saw nothing in looks, smell or results to justify that extra expense.
While I have not tested urine side by side, I have used and sold a lot of different makers urine- and frankly- as long as the smell and color is about the same, they all imo work the same.
Weak color, too much sediment, septic smell- deifferent story

2 years ago I was looking to buy some urines and this one had a particular urine that was priced way higher than his other urine. I called him and ask why was his urine so much higher than anyone else's, even from what I was hearing about a couple of the “big boys” prices? He absolutely could not or would not explain it to me and refused to answer any of my questions. He got a little pissy and told me if I wanted to find out to buy some. He wasn’t the only person he learned who could get real pissy real frigin quick!

What is Wendt "style" pee? Do you see any difference in results using it vs. Trappers supply"style" pee? I have been trying different urine for years. Haven't tried Wendts yet, but so far I haven't found anything that makes any difference. Keep coming back to whatever Cumberland boys sell.

basically meat fed, with a system that keeps debris and contaminants from getting in the urine as its collected.
the major dealers but from good sources, so agree, if uncut and stored properly, one urine is as good as the other. Meat fed they say gives it a darker, more pungent odor and I have no reason to doubt it does.
I would guess the big boys buy their urine from multiple place, s be hard to think of one operation being able to collect that much on a yearly basis. I agree- didn't seem much if any difference when I bought direct, or when I bought from Cumberlands, Gerald, etc.

Haven't tried Wendts yet, but so far I haven't found anything that makes any difference. Keep coming back to whatever Cumberland boys sell. I have never used Bob's, One-legged Johnny's, or a trapping supplier's EXCEPT one time I ordered a bottle from a trapping supplier. I had a tiny bit of O'Gorman's and about the same amount of Jameson's. When I saw the color from the supplier a severe case of doubt came on me and I called the supplier. He told me all the trapping suppliers get their urine from the same fella so it wouldn't do any good to replace it! LOL So what did Ol' Seldom do that is natural for him, to do, I tested the 3 side by side on a piece of cedar board. I tested them by my nose. I measured out an eye dropper of each and placed them on the board flat and what I considered 1/2 shade and 1/2 sun. Each puddle was about 1' apart and I just let it soak in. The board sat there for 3 weeks and through two heavy rains. I could not smell the trapping supplier's urine after 4 days and the 1st rain, the other 2 were still strong. The other 2 were still quite strong after the 2nd rain and the end of the 2nd week. I left the board there for another week and I could faintly smell each spot of urine and decided that was more than enough. That was the only 1/2-ass test I ever did on urine.

That's it seldom. I knew you HAD to have some urine testing information. LOL Even if half assed, thanks. Braveheart do you find any catch differences between the Wendt type urine you sell and what you've sold previously? I know you use what you sell, you'd be the perfect guy for the question. Say what you want about Bob Wendt, the man has made an impact on trapping for sure, you got to respect that. Now he's got urine collection style's named after him. Got to love it.

This is my first year with this pee. I had a friend I trapped with in Ks. was using it and used a few drops per set. The place where I get my fox pee use to get his coyote pee. No one ever complained about it. But this pee is about 10 times stronger. To me it smells like a coyote that is wet and peeing it's self in a catch circle. I did not personally get this from Wendt but this guy bought a bunch of his pens and was show how it was done.

I’m no pee expert but my Labrador Retriever probably qualifies. I let him out at every location. He lets me know right now how much fox or coyotes are marking at any given location. I watch his reaction as he finds spots where the k9’s are marking, he pees on top of every one he finds. I’ve been using Bob Wendt’s fox pee the last five years. If I squirt a shot of that pee on a grass hump and watch my dog he acts more aggressively. Not only does he pee on that grass clump but he also starts digging at it. I’ve watched him and other dogs I’ve had over the last 30 years and none of them have ever dug at any of the big commercial brands I’ve used. He also showed the same aggressive reaction to Ogormans fox pee.
