Facebook. Thats what happened to most forums. But if some want to start discussions, I'm willing. Myself, Ive had a couple of starnge years. Started with 3 years ago getting double vison and droppy eyelids. Went through every test in the world it seems, and finally found I had myasthenia gravis... a rare atto immune disease. That lead to 2 years of strong prednesone to bring it under control. I'm no on another med with few if any side effects so thats all good and back to normal. The good thing is, all the tests showed I'm "perfect" in other things- healthy as a horse one said. But then, I develed severe cataracs to the point of legally blind- to the point my wife had to direct me to a gopher mound. Got that done a year a go in the midst of covid, and wow 20/20. Had a pretty good coyote season, despite 10" of snow the 2nd week of october. Ran a little waterline with my grandson- he did all the work, including te skinning of al lthe rats and 1 mink- I did one rat and the mink to show him how. I told him he could have al lthe fur money- we ended up in 5 checks with 2 mink, 15 rats, 3 coon and a beaver at a couple locations. My fur buyer was a champ and gave him a $100 bill for his efforts. Fun running water as ahobby again.

Life! Signs of life bacck on this forum!
I have been peeking in once in a while and deleting spam.
Nice to read some traping talk.
I trapped less due to prices but still have the bug. I did well on the wolves and am looking forward to bear season.

I'm glad to see a little action on the forum, we've had some good talks.
Let's get the word on our trap conventions.

Grandkids sure do get in the way, especially with covid and babysitting. Good you got you eyesight back Steve seems like a century ago we were having a beer in your backyard and watching the cicadids emerging and Buddy pissing on my truck tires.

The 2016 election is history so I thought I’d swing by. During that time I’ve had a pacemaker installed, developed PMR and battled that for almost 2 years on Prednisone and then a relapse late last summer but I’m finally off the Prednisone. It was found that I’ve degenerative joint disease in my spine & neck, elbows & shoulders. The docs say my coyote trapping is my saving grace though! LOl
Never stopped trapping coyote and continued to test lures & baits. Developed a Youtube channel about trapping coyote and featured many videos on the testing. I’ve since removed my channel. Had to stop my beloved mink trapping because the surgeon said that if I kept climbing in and out of steep ditches and creeks he’d galdly replace my other knee and maybe one or both of my hips. With that I sold all of my trapping equipment that didn’t pertain to my coyote trapping.

That prednisone is a blessing and a curse. It got my MG under control, but I gained weight like crazy, and my doctors think that the prednisone was the cause of my quick cataract growth. I've gotten the weight back down quite a bit, but I'd still like to lose a few more.
Glad to see you back. Missed you.

Yup, the Prednisone is my friend taking away the intense pain in my joints but the additional 25lbs sucks and it’s all just above the belt line. Puss-gutted called “done-lap” disease. The belly done lapped over the belt
It was time to come back.
