I did. Horrible weather throughout. Inches of rain, snow periodically, most of the corn still in....
Been a decent year. 1st 2 loops were in the normal range, but this last loop far below par insofar as number of coyotes. Good thing is I think my collection this year is the best overall in fur quality, and only had 1 off color one this year (red or dark)
To show you the kind of year its been, used up 11 bales of peat.
Fox numbewrs for here were up some- 22 reds.
Have 13 traps out I'll pull tomorrow before the big snow. didn't hit 100, but got close and with this year, I'm ok with that. I'd like ot think no one in Mn trapped more coyotes than we did- if someone did, I'd like to shake his or her hand.
Been posting pics on facebook- if any want ot see them, go there. Too hard ot copye and paste everything here

Good to hear your report Steve. That must have been up hill all the way this fall!! I never set a canine trap this fall. We have sorghum to cut and chop, much laying in the fields yet. We have harvested only about 20% of the dry or HMSC and several here need to cut another crop of alfalfa if they can as feed is very short here and prices are going up for hay. Most 1st cutting here poor to very good going for $160-$250 per ton, 2nd and 3rd more.
Another .7 inches last Thursday put most rivers out of their banks again and a lot. Some very flat areas which we have quite a bit of has been flooded since last April. Open water rats was okay with canoe. Could not wade a river or stream this year. Will be another week of weather before we can walk on the ice. Ice did not melt but is rotten and we are looking at some to quite a bit of rain later this week.
I have always had November 1st to the Thursday before our 9-day gun season as my most intense dry and water line. Last year I could not set half of it this year less and only 4 days.
Need to rethink my systems so I can counter this type of weather.

We got it hard, but central WI really has- what misses us north, hits you....and what misses us south hits you. now we got this snow- could be here a while. Midwest is going to have the lowest harvest in years if not decades- as if prices werent bad enough.

We have a lot of soybeans out that are starting to weaken in all the moisture but we did not get any snow this round last night. We did get over an inch of rain and yes that means the rivers are now all flooded again. Ice is gone or so soft one can't walk it. Looks like it will be a couple weeks before we can do that.
With this wind a lot of corn is breaking down but combines can get that pretty well. As to trapping the wild fur harvest will really be low is my guess.
