Im a little disappointed I had to start early. The sheep are coming home soon. I thought they would be better, they are blue but full. Another month and them same coyotes would be worth $25-$30 more. But I have my other ranches timed just perfect I think.

How many sets have you got out and working/producing?
What do those early birds look like?

singles are killing me here, picking stuff up on every trip but one at a time.
Usually in the remake. Would make it much easier if I could just pick up the group in a check.
Marty, pretty impressed with the other stuff as well.

Did you get the Mamba or the 8-ball? I sent out so many samples I can't remember. I ran the one all last year 8-ball but tweaked it down one more time. The mamba has got the most penetrating smell ever.

Ground conditions aren't too bad insofar as soil- its just where you want it not too wet, not too dry. Crops on the other hand..my oh my is there a lot of corn and beans out. I've had a few years when corn was way behind, but beans are just getting started. Suppose to rain tomorrow, but then a long string of warm and dry. No corn picked yet- only whats chopped. and hay is 18" high- saw a couple of fields today where they are cutting hay. so tall grass, crops everywhere- but the coyotes are looking decent- but just pups so far a double if you look close

Boy you arent kidding tall grass or hay. I have same conditions here, beans still field plus corn barely started chopping and dry corn no. Yotes are still in corn dispersed.

Nice start. I will go out this week with a lesson and get some places set up.Dry here all week long and breezy they say should have a lot of crops go away. Most beans out hay and brome is tall here as well. Marty

Nice country!! Picked up about 15 thousand acres yesterday for coyotes. They are about 8 farmers that work together with cattle and trucking. Few more weeks till I can get out and go. The SS is some hard hitting stuff the 8 ball with it is mighty ruff on critters.

Noticed a few water trappers out in areas im working yotes, no one that i know. Years back i was out opening day on water animals but with low prices im not putting anything in till after first November. Farmers are starting to get in the fields on beans with dryer weather and this week alot should be harvested plus silage corn going also. This will move some of the corn field yotes out into the brush or woods. I have spots will set up as harvest progresses. No skunks or coons yet....LOL....

I like the location on the last coyote water way coming to the top of the hill. My kind of spot.

me too. a weed finger/waterway coming into a picked bean field, is a preferred location.
