Didn't want to hijacked Nevers so started this one. New smart phone ,still figuring out how to post pics.not doing well as I see
Trapman, past couple years the spot was a 2 track that dead ended,as you have mentioned. Yote tore crap out of anything caught on that spot. The spot was changed by farming practices, so using info gathered last winter in the snow, used all new locations. When I set the farm up in Dec there was no sign to be found. Used the info and caught the female. Pulled after 6 checks,and just reset Sunday, used the old catch circle and 2 other locations that there's new sign on.
The pic shows a set 30yrds from where the fox got tore up. Plenty eye appeal to change mindset as they cruise the 2track. The clump of grass to the right is where the trap is placed, urine only.
From my travels where you could see how the sets were worked,neophoic just never saw it,straight line to set and caught.

I think you are right- visual do change mindsets-
but they can change it either positively, or in a negative way-

 The deer carcass was being drug around and chewed on. I just placed it where I wanted it for the visual. No meat left on it so wasn't worried about birds. Clump of grass trap, urine . My thinking 0 negative effect, and penchant for marking. So what's your thought on the ribbon , curiosity? |
