THANKS never, good info on your grounds. Alot of trapper dont give areas like you are trapping in for some good nbrs on yotes. Here in central Wi there are more and more news reports of yotes harrasing people with their dogs in these suburban settings... One doesnt have to travel large distances when you have areas like you have with a good population of yotes.

The last video is nice and sandy but almost to the point of being saturated. In the last video you'll notice a narrow strip of yellow sand almost pointing to the coyote. The 2 coyote used that as a trail and if it had't been on the verge of soupy I would have made a trail blind set. Both coyotes sank in about 3/8" which led me to disregard a set in it. The slash area was also nice sandy but the dairy farm is very heavy clay. Regarding the dairy farm. I caught 5 coyote and 2 reds with those 3 traps in 6 nights then it went dead. I normally pull after 10-12 nights but I left everything soak as an experiment. So who shows up this morning on the A weather change will be on me tonight so we'll see if there are any followers. She was caught in a dirt hole that had caught the 2 reds. Since the last fox catch in that set we've had 1.5" of rain over two rain periods but only 1 crust-making freeze, I use peat in the first and every set starting day #1. I never relured, rebaited, or touched any of the 3 sets other then when I remade them after a catch. Sort of how I deal with up to about 3" of snow cover, I never touch the sets.

Thanks for taking the time to post the videos and pictures. I haven't been able to set any traps yet, but I am going to get started this weekend.

You're welcome Aaron.
I think it's worthwhile so folks get the opprotunity to see what my part of MI looks like in general down to the micro-size, the property and terrain I trap. It also gives me practice making the short, "unlisted" Utube videos.

Great photos and videos. Yall have some good fertile looking country to trap up there.
Its been too hot down here. We typically don't start until the end of December unless its ADC work.
