WI put on another well organized and good convention. A member here and a godo friend Mike Widner (mustelameister) was elected to the WI Trappers Hall of Fame. Mike has and is a leader in trapper ed in Wisconsin and is well deserving of the honor. Congrats Mike!
Very well attended convention, and sales were up- one wouldn't know it was a down market by the supplies being bought-
Thanks to all that stopped by the booth, and as I told everyone- any questions, call me and I'll try to help

Ditto on what Steve said, great convention and kudos to all the volunteers that put the rondy on and the convention coordinator Pam Mather. Also congratulations to Mike Widner for the tireless devotion to trappers ed. I believe he was one of the first school (WI) teachers to teach trapping in a class in school and took students out in the field trapping for class.

Thanks for supporting the WTA rondy Steve. Always good to see you and Laurie and now with the new pup. I spent most of my time there at the demo site and we saw good numbers at our demos. I talked with Pam and she stated you bought some extra spaces. I hope that worked well for you this year. Pam stated around 1900 paid for the two days which is down 300 from last year but really good when you think that coon, rats, mink, beaver, eastern yotes and reds is what we typically catch with not much strong market news on most of those.

Steve, was nice to meet you at the convention, that pup looked pretty busy chewing on stuff all weekend.
We'll back to it, got another wood trap to work on. Hope to see ya next year.
