I have never been to a FTA convention, I am looking forward to several of the demos. Marty Smith, Gary Jepson, and Robert Waddell are the ones I want to see most, however I will watch several others. I was thinking about tailgating but I like to roam too much and look at everything 5 times.

Been to a few FTA's not much different than other conventions really, just the mindset of the org really.

Got back from the convention yesterday, much sooner than anticipated, damn rain pushed me out. I saw coyote demos by Marty Smith, Gary Jepson, Robert Waddell, Lesel Rewsaat, James Tate, and Charlie Mascheck. I wanted to see a couple of others, like Bill Kasten's and Scott Welch, but you can't hit them all. The convention was pretty standard, about the same size as the Michigan Convention, but with definitely more of a national flavor. I hung out with several guys from Kentucky around the campfire shooting the breeze. I talked quite a bit with Marty Smith and Andy Weiser, the Weiser group had a bluegill fish fry that I attended, not much better than that. Overall I had a great time just like all conventions, but the weather sucked about half the time.

It was good to see every one.Sales were good considering the weather.Got signed up for the FTA in Kansas next year.Got 2 months to get ready for the Fall conventions.My iron will all be ready in a month for coyotes.
