K9's and Colors.....................

Do you believe K9's can see colors?  

Is there any research out there that might discuss their color spectrum?  

For example if your in a mowed field constructing a well blended set.  Everything is green except for the material you place over the trap to blend in is brown. What can a canine make out from this.  Does he see the different colors? does he see the lines that that are created when the brown material meets green?

Curious....I collect grass clippings after mowing and let dry before bagging, Obviously when I go to use the material its brown.

If this is in the archives please lead me in the right direction, I could not find anything that pertained to this topic.  However I easily could have missed it.
