Been having a very good season on yotes but my ratio of male to female is like 8 to 1 I am also not catching many pups but I am wearing those big monster males out anybody got any ideas as to whats going on

I had that happen 3 yrs. ago in a area and set that same line up last week.I had 2 fox and 3 coyotes in 3 checks and I pulled everything up.I got no mangy ones the last year but very few in general.I think Parvo went through.I will set in a new line in a different direction.

I think what that means, is your population has become static or declining, and when that happens, you tend to have more adults.

Tman I hope its not declining I know the hunting clubs do but I dont.I set a area back up today about 2000 acres that I have taken 11 off of and although I didnt see as much sign I still got a few to catch had one come up to a trench set last night and just didnt commit had a track big as a baseball only had 2 today and yes both males
