Remember this "SPOT" and the two views, well the diary farmer emailed me last night and told me I'd find my "SPOT" somewhat restructured!
Somewhat restructured "SPOT"! as seen this morning standing where I was when I took the photo of my skinning-

man I feel your pain- Have had it happen to me as well- had one place, called it the "T" where it was a long brushfilled ditch, and several farmers tossed calves into it- it was a hot, hot spot for years- 4 years ago- came and ditch gone, filled in, grass planted. yikes. further down s a grove of trees. brush at some major drainage intersections, and its decent, but not the hot spot of old

I had a great wolf snaring spot. It was good for a wolf a year. The spot was an eroded culvert on an old logging road. The wolves used it and the moose did not. Everywhere but that exact spot was road width and no where to set a snare.
Cottager shot a moose and filled in the culvert to use his jeep to get the moose. There was an atv trail 15 feet away BUT he wanted to get it with the jeep. The guy used his loader to fill in the culvert when he could have used the loader to get the moose.
The wolves never used that trail again. The culvert is eroded again but the wolves never went back to the old trail Now they fan out and there is no pinch point.
I remind the guy how he screwed up the best natural wolf funnel I have ever found every time he complains about wolves ....

Here's an adage told to me by an old welder long passed that I use when I'm a victim of negative circumstance- "I've been Dicked by the Dirty, Dangling, Dong, of Destiny!"
