can't wait to see wild sell Probably won't be good. On the bright side I have seen sales were ranch mink were mostly unsold. So there is a good demand for fur. As long as that continues the future for wild fur looks good. If we can ride out this perfect storm we had this past season for a bad market. T-Man you coyote market may well be pretty decent next fall.

wouldn't it be nice Paul, to have that.
and on other things- it seems like everytime there is a little hope in the market- be it coon or mink or beaver- and you think...boy, next year with be a humdinger...and back to that "traditional" average
and for us- cross your fingers- I decent enough spring, some high water on the creeks but down quick- if we can go a couple of months w/o floods to both get water stuff back up there in population, but to get some good vegetation growing on the banks-
and please God- after that last few years with coon numbers- I'll never complain again about a coon messing up a mink set- I had my lowest coon numbers in the past 30 years

Wish I would have all my coon up there for the Feb. sale.. Averaged about $8 less this sale.. Happy with what I got though, could have been worse.. sold 78 out of 112.. been hearing a lot worse for buy backs.. long hair tomorrow.. not much riding on that one..
