here is one of the best colored and furred coyotes I have taken to date! A very nice belly and color for a mizzou coyote. This is one of our better spots due to the location of course. Sorry for the blur must have had some crap on my phone camera.

Yep this is a fine location and has brought us a fair share of coyotes. To the South on the other side of the train is a major loafing area for coyotes and these tall weeds are a for sure stop for all coyotes in this area. 3 sets here and fresh sign still in the area after a good hand full of coyotes already taken.

man those ears are huge
that's not a train but a mobile oil pipeline..tying up the rail system and not moving grain.

Actually a lot of those tanker cars are from ADM and full of corn sweetener as well as oil product.

sorry to detrack from you yote post, but the rail system is stressed with trains going 178 car lengths with push locos in the middle because of all the weight, western Canada is plugged with grain with numerous terminals plugged with 1.75 million bushel temporary pop-up storage tents

No problem north50. Kansas City is the busy hub left in the US for train distrabution and it is 30 miles to the west of me, we have 8-10 trains daily come by this area all times down about a mile is a track change, they bring them east and west and they haul butt through here 55-60 mph. Tman no these coyotes on avg are bigger than the avg SD coyote by about 6-8 lbs and here is another from that area this morning a BIG male that is a 3 Bridger on his foot looks like a size two trap! Love the 3 Bridger offset laminated traps with the PIT pans have for a lot of years , but always have also loved my sterlings but for cost and ease of parts I just see no reason for ME to use any other trap. They just flat out perform well. Deep hold after deep hold and the 5th one this year with double front feet in them. Wolfers PAC and show time once again at a remake! 3 rd one from this same set. Jc Conner springs sure take a lot of fight out of your anchor system as well Pogos with 1.5 washers. Notice how clean the springs stay. Liking this setup a lot. The only change will be to drop off the standard helper springs and down grade them to JC Conners Taos springs or Milligan helpers just more power than I need with these std Bridger springs. Been playing with a few Monty 4 new style from victor ok traps but don't see them any better than my bridgers. Boy was happy to get to hear this one talk he was a noisy bugger LOL.
