Carp in the smoker... Will be doing that all day!! Boat is loaded, all the traps are waxed adjusted and tagged.. Line is scouted. Will be running more traps this year then i ever have but thankfully i am riding with a skilled river man. My father. tomorrow we leave at daylight and will unleash all hell on the river! -matt

be safe and good luck- I wish my old man was still around- he was a lifetime water trapper, but never set traps on land- he would have enjoyed the heck out of coyotes. Cherish these days!

Today was a good day, got half the line out. He is quicker than i thought. Twice i came down a trail (setting snares) and on to the bank and there he was leaning against the boat smoking. " sheesh you done yet??" With a laugh we pushed off and buzzed on over to the next spot. He decided to give me a lesson and let me set a good 2 or 3 doz traps on my own. He parked the boat, said grab x amount of traps and x amount of snares and go there there there and dont forget the 110 in that tight spot. I learned alot today. Tomorrow is another day and im anxious to check what we got out and set more. Ofcourse the day we dont bring the shotgun we see a good flock of turkey with a big tom. Keep killin them coyotes gappa, good luck and tight chains.
