If this has been discussed before please let me know or point me to the thread.
Does anyone have any experience or heard feedback on the newer Bridger #3 dogless design?
Does anyone have any experience with the replacement wire levers for the regular Bridger #3’s?
Positives, negatives, or issues with either?
Thanks!!!

I have pick up a dozen and see how they compare. I to like the dogless idea and the 6.5" jawspread.
Now if someone would just come out with a 6.5" KB with wire levers and an enlarged pan...

There has been some discussion on other forms from some who have them and it sounds like there may be some minor problems with the pans being oversized and getting caught in the leavers holding the jaws open. I have not personally used them yet, but will wait to see more reviews before I buy any.

I had read something similar and wondered if the issues had been worked out yet.

Have any of you guys taken a good look at the Montgomery/Victor dogless traps? I am fairly new to the dogless traps and bought some of the Montanas last year to give them a try. I cant say I am completely satisfied with the trap, but I am still learning. This year I bought some of the new Montgomery/Victor dogless traps, based on reccomendations from Braveheart and Andy Weiser at the convention and I really like them. The pan tension is consistent and they have a nice wide jaw. I welded on a base plate, upgraded the swivels and just left them 2 coiled. I don't catch many coyotes, but the ones I have caught in these traps were caught deep without much damage and no pull outs, along with some red fox. Take a look and see if they might work for you.

Yes that is what it is, got pictures on my phone if anyone knows how to post I can send them if they give me there #. This computer is about done, so slow and havnt been to post. My pan is 2 3/4 x 4 1/4", modified monty style dogless trigger, using the pawsi center swivel and wire levers. It has a 2 piece base as eventually will also have cast jaws. Anyone know where I can get hold of Jim Cundiff as he was on the list to get some from the early list.

now that sounds like a nice trap. can't wait for the pics.
i've put off buying some new traps for a couple of years waiting on the dogless bridgers but i don't think i'm gonna like the pan setup. now i may have to wait a little longer for these.

there a way to lower the pan to work better with steel screen? maybe weld a catch on the inside bottom of the jaw for the pan to catch?
so the screen will lay flatter.
