Season is still a few days away for us and i am anxious to go! Glad to see the youngin out. Since im a state away from home i cannot trap with my youngest brother this year so hopefully my 17yr old brother will get him out and about! Hope you guys catch a few dozen coons and your boy gets enough money to buy him the coolest bb gun in the world.

Very nice. Make sure you take lots of pictures of the young man, while he's out and about. Great chance to bond together, a few years from now, those will be precious memories.

Ok I am a total idiot. After sitting round for awhile last evening I come to figure out that I was a dumb ars!!!! I was a week to early and now the disappointment in my son is something far worse than any other thing that could come of this. I spent last night snapping off traps and will wait until next Saturday!!!!! For some reason I had the 9th stuck in my mind I was wrong .
No excuse except one medicine I'm taking is going in the garbage and what will come will come. The only good Thing to come of this total brainless move was my son knows I am willing to go fix my mistakes and His disappointment is the worst part of this total stupid move on my part. I just say look at the dates more than once or twice.
So we will resume next Saturday and hope things go better. Man am I bummed. never did anything like this before and a felt a confession was needed since I started this posting.

Well today was the 15th got a few coyote sets out and 15 coons sets all daggers out after work with my son. He is looking forward to the morning check! The good thing is the Pre made dirt holes where cleaned out hoping for a few coyotes in the morning and a few coons. deer season will start in the morning so we will wait on some stuff until next week. Too many deer hunters for sure!

My biggest mo yote so far! This one was right at 40 lbs on a 50lb scale. Double front foot catch Bridger 3 pit pan setup. My boy said wow dad that is a monster! Keg creek hummin along 1-11 decoy and show time bait! Only downfall to this one a hint of mange and course fur.

Good job on the yotes tc39. Great pictures and a good time for sure.
Are you connecting with the daggers yet?
Two seasons experminting with dps of several makes and countless baits and food combinations, etc. and still having low percentage cathes with coons that consisently ignore/avoid them.
Thinking of going back to footholds at dirt holes,,

Oh yes the daggers working fine. All I use is black label by Kattz. great bait ! Fish oil with some coon lure mixed in for trailing scent if need be and done.
Took a big male bobcat today but a muddy mess needed a washing and he is drying now. The bobcat liked show time and 1-11 decoy as well.

Tell him good Job!
All on black label? Been using a bunch of it last year and this year but not good results here. But not great results on anything. Have done about as well, maybe a little better on canned cat food mixed with kernaled corn with a little glycern added.
