Here are a few photos. This is home while in the bush. It's a sunrise photo because I don't see it much in daylight!



Another little set-up that doesn't get slept in but it's great for a warm-up or in case of an emergency.



I've been seeing some big game.







Wet fur never looks great until you sell it!







Look carefully. They blend in rather well. First catch of the day in a set made in the dark the evening before.



This guy got named. I called it number thirty!



A small rock slide that almost took out a marten box. and a typical scenery shot.





A shot of the ride-a-longs. They do fill up a truck cab.

This from a guy that traps year round with his wife! I believe we all think the grass is greener on the other side.

I am having a great time, though. When I have a wolf on the dog sled, the living the dream stuff hits home.

The dog does have quite the expression. Kind of like he's saying, "i don't aways ride in front but when I do I try to shed as much as possible." Wifey got into my truck today. She freaked a little!

It's been warm the past few days and the fur has slowed a little. Cold and perhaps snow next week. I have to consider a major foothold pick up in the near future. I'd like a bit of movement prior to that.

Great pics! Beautiful country but I believe the it's a nice place to visit deal applies to me. This Mn farm country has a lot of fur in it. But I do look forward to trapping marten in the north country again one of these years. It's cool you have red fox along with all the less commom animals to the rest of us.

It's a piece of tarp covering the winch.

A moose would slide over the hood and take out the cab!
