when i trap coyotes i use alot of fox scents like Carmen's pro mix because i don't mind getting a few foxes but was wondering what every ones thoughts would be on this and do you think i would get a lot more coyotes if i just used coyote lures. My area has alot of coyotes but over the last few years the foxes have been showing up alot more often and still would like to catch them also

Don't conceren yourself fox lures work just fine on coyotes. But with that said I would have a few coyote type lures for those second and thrid sets at the location.

I'm new to coyote trapping last year was my first year and i only set 1 trap at each location how many should i be setting at each location i probably missed some coyotes last year with just one trap this year i will go with the saying that if it's good enough for one trap it's good enough for a couple.

if location was good for 1 set then itis good for more ,IMO, i like 2 at least then theres some variety
Either way , the lure its a territorial ,from the fox or from the yote
