 ;D Very stout trap, what you don't see is the riveted/welded baseplate with D-Ring. Actually pretty bulletproof right out of the box.   However, the new bridger is No Montgomery! I love my new Montys, steel screen fits like a Dream! Thanks 1080!

Nick, does that have a larger pan than say the old monties? It looks larger than normal.

The poan looks like thinner stock or is it just the photo?
Pan looks somewhat like that on a jake trap. The jake pans are super stout.

Compared to a dogged Bridger 3...it looks like the pan on this trap is bigger.

Yes the pan is stout like a Jake.
and I was told the big production run for these traps was going to have a quarter inch wider or narrower pan.
Sorry, no set pics, the guy handling it right before me dry fired it, so they didnt want it set any more...

i had a feeling they were going to put a pan like that on it. why couldn't they have just put a pan like the old monties?
everybody that was wanting them to make a dogless version was using monties and was looking for a (new montgomery) but i guess thats not gonna be the case.
oh well i guess, we'll see how they work and how the screen works with them.
