I swear there was an old thread about this a couple years ago, but post your coolest trapper quotes you can find. From legends of the past or modern day trappers.

Cant catch them if they aint there,....... I like my pan tension for mink so light that if you stare at the pan for too long it goes off...... Traps arent doing any good in the back of the truck.......I think we are trapping ghost animals (animals that have already been caught by someone else)......

slap em, & Trap em, years ago I had an old timer Beaver Trapper go along with me on my Beaver line because I had missed place my conibear just a very little bit and the Beaver knocked it off without being cott. and I was having trouble catching the Beaver after the bad Trap placement. and I will never forget what he said as long as I live. and the old Timer look at me and said, oboy you really messed up on this one. you couldn't have educated him anymore if you would have sent him to collage for 4 year's.

When I was young an old timer came into the fur buyers; I asked him a question to which he replied, "If I told you that you'd know as much as I do" I didn't like that answer much but I do laugh about it a lot.
