not sure exactly what you mean-
are you talking about that little piece, that comes off trigger at right angle? that never touches the bar does it?
or are you talking about the tangs that go into the little holes?
I'll look at the video again and for sure try it tomorrow

Not the tangs. It is a 90* bend at the bottom of one side of the trigger. When the gopher pushes on the trigger the tab presses against the one arm, lifting the riveted hinge and fires the trap. I just open the angle from 90* to 95-100* causing the lifting action to happen sooner and easier. Not sure how to explain it better. But it is really working. I used to get most of my grey backs in the Gophinators, now the Quicksets are catching their share of them too.

Just take a pliers and bend the tab on the pan up or down. Down will make it go off easier. If you need any new pans I can bring some to Owatonna. Jamie.
