New to CoyotesRus so here are a few of my favorite pics from last year. 16 year old nephew with his 1st wolf, he is probably the only reason I trap to this day 1.75 Duke working overtime, this was our 4th Wolf, but he was a brute. Catch pole pretty much destroyed after him video with nephew with one of his yotes, I taught him to trap but I didnt teach him to be foolish, some things just have to be taught the hard way I guess Here is a decent sized Tom, released no tag yet One of our wolf release video clips, very docile animals in most cases, the larger wolves tend to be much more aggressive. These next 3 pics are of a large male yote as we found him in the set, he is still alive in the 1st 2 pics, but a wolf pretty much did our dispatch on him, skinning revealed many more bites than the pics show this is a pic of what can and will go wrong on public land, might have caught his dog or something which i hate but the end result is obvious Have a ton more of pics these are just some that stand out for me, will have lots more this fall, also the kid and I are going to make a DVD this year so should be interesting lol

Mine usually get blasted with shotguns on public ground.
One guy even took artistic license after blowing my trap to pieces. He took all the pieces and layed them out into a smiley face, and then shoved the empty shell casings into the ground to make what I believe was supposed to be a necktie. I wasn't happy about the trap, but gave him an A for effort. Better then just writing F$%K YOU in the dirt. Which I've had happen a few times as well.

I trap the same area that tom traps. My trapline overlaps his on my west side. I have also had many wolves in my yote sets. Her is a few pictures. This is a sneeky one trying to hide Tis wolf was very timid and did not move for over five minutes after release Another one trying to hide. Tis one is half of a double This was a big boy Odd color to this one Releasing one Very ugly large wolf Nice looking wolf I hope this worked Later Mike!

Thanks for sharing Mike, its pretty obvious that Mike and I share the same problems with the Wi. Wolves. Between the two of us we caught 8 Wolves last year and somewhere around 20 Coyotes. 2 years ago I had 20 Coyotes myself and I only trap a few weeks every year. It seems as the Wolf population grows the Coyote population dwindles. This year we at least have a slim chance to get a Wolf tag, but with only 2000 tags being released its going to be very slim.

The wolves kill and eat any coyotes around here.
What surprises me is how your equipment isn't beaten to death. We have the same wolves re: size.

very nice pic there caninecrazy, there is no one that likes to looks at good catch pic anymore then me.(BUT) that being said, you should really think about not posting pic like the 7th pic you have there. the anti's have way's of getting there noises into our great Trapping forum that we all love almost as much as Trapping it self. and all pic's like #No.7 does is give them more tool's to fight against us all. so could you PLEASE be careful with the pic you share with us we need to all stick toghter on this to protect our Great Trapping hairage. and I think I speak for all of us Bothers of the steel. but thank you again very much for sharing your very, very, nice catch pic's.

Trapperlarry If your talking about the pic with the Coyote with the bloody eye I apologize, but the pic dictates what another animal did to an animal of lesser statue, this was not done by my hands or the hands of any trapper, this was done by a Wolf and maybe the anti's need to see what they are so anti about, granted the animal was trapped but its informational in the fact that its a doggy dog world and if your not on top of the food chain there are consequences, just my 2 cents

yes my friend, you and I know what caused this but do you think they are going to say, all now this pic here is alright because the Trapper didn't do this one. NO, NO, NO, my Brother in the Steel. you have to know how the enemy work's they will use what they can and make up the rest. in other word's they will lie cheat still and what ever they can to take the Traps out of your and my hands. PLEASE don't get me wrong I'm with you old Buddy & you can post what ever you want as long as Steve Gappa and his staff allow it. I just telling you to think before you post them ugly pic.

with only 2000 tags being released its going to be very slim. WI DNR is only giving out 201 tags

The number 201 you mentioned is actually the amount of Wolves they want to harvest, but they are giving out 5 tags per Wolf in hopes of a better success rate, so there will be 2000 tags available, but the Native Chippewa Tribe get 50% of the tags which will leave about 1000 tags avail. for the rest of the state. IMO thats still not enough tags to harvest 201 animals but I guess time will tell
