I received my check and printout from the last nafa auction and some of the skins had a asterisk next to them which means they were labeled skins. Anyone know what a labeled skin is. I have been shipping to nafa for 27 years and never seen that before. Maybe just missed it , but want to know what it means, Thanks

Its the one they use for the show piece. You really don't get any more money for it but the buyer might get more for a coat or something that has the label skin tag.I think this is how it works anyway.Nice username by the way. Funny I didn't think there could be 2 of us.

Actually Labeled skins are the best of the best so you are getting more money for them. This year I had more labeled skins then ever before and guess what none of them sold LOL Buy backs on top end rats.

both have different login names, but both chose same display name.
so to avoid confusion, since trapperbill from kansas was here first, I changed trapperbill from WI to all caps.
if you wish to change that TRAPPERBILL, simply go to your profile and chose another display name.

The whole lot has a label. This is for select skins. When a buyer purchases a labeled lot he gets a label with the lot which can be sewn into the inside of the garment made from those skins. Look at the center of this page: www.nafa.ca/ and you will see the labels. NAFA Northern is the Wild Fur Label. Click on the label to see what it is about, then click on "Label Authenticity" NAFA Northern Wild Fur : www.nafa.ca/990North America provides the world with an abundance of non-endangered wild fur. From long-haired Red Fox and Coyote to precious Lynx, Lynx Cat, Sable and Fisher to the sleek Musquash, Otter and Beaver, only NAFA Northern offers designers the full spectrum of natural colors and textures to experiment with nature’s own diverse palette. Label Authenticity: www.nafa.ca/about/authenticityLuxury label counterfeiting is a concern to consumers who want to assure themselves of the authenticity of the labels used. All of NAFA’s garment labels have integrated a special security fiber, which is woven into the label itself. Access to this material is very regulated and is being used by the finest brand names to reassure consumers and retailers that only authentic labels are being used. This unique fiber can be easily seen with the use of a small portable black light and reputable retailers will be pleased to demonstrate this feature. There is a box to fill out and submit for check in authenticity of any NAFA Label: Validate Garment Label City Country Serial Number
