I got back this weekend from a trip to Wyoming with my wife to see some family and check out a few of the national parks. I went to the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, Wyoming. I thought the museum was pretty cool, it would have been even better to visit when they have some of their special events. I also bought some traps while I was out there from a place in Saratoga, WY. The guy was selling them as part of an estate, I can't remember the name of the guy whose traps they were but the intiials were DT, and the shop owner told me he had a line of calls. Anybody by chance know the guy's name?
In going into a lot of the places I went to it was interesting to see the local fur and I noticed how much lighter their rats and beaver are than ours here in Michigan. For reference I only saw one coyote and that was in Yellowstone. I saw a lot of places I would like to give a try at catching some yotes someday though.
I had a great trip saw lots of cool things, put just less than 4000 miles in 10 days on the Jeep.

Wyoming is a big, beautiful state. Lots to see and do, lots of history, just plain neat. Pretty country too. I'm jealous, lets see some pics.
