The last one I set was on a coon trail in cut hay. I never touched it, blended a trap and dropped one drop gland on the turd. Next day nicest male grey of the decade. Nothing in the remake.
I don't carry poop around, something about transplanting parasites. I get plenty exposure without pocketing them.
How about you? You the lure maker from Pa? Admin requires a location under your name for most here.

don't move them around like I used to- now, I leave them where they are
at a remake, there are ususally several there, and I might use one as a back guard, but there again, I usually just let them lay.
when I did pick up some and move them, I always used it at the edge of the pattern- some guys toss it down the hole.

focal point and olfactory when used with gland lure. I don't pack them either most of the time except a few ft, if fresh on a catch I will certainly use them on a remake most of which are flat sets modified in some form.

Now that you guys mention it , I don't pack them around either. I only use them in the location that I find them. At the set I have repositioned them as a focal point. I have enjoyed good success using them in that manner.
