When you can't and won't provide a stable and or growing commodity that people want the create and find ways to get their resources, i.e. a huge boom in the ranch fur growth and industry. Fur harvesters come and go depending on price, their other opportunities and availability which makes the fur harvest extremely variable and in many ways exceedingly unreliable as it is manned by independent minded business owners that worry mostly about themselves instead of the customer and the retail end of things. We see it in milk production etc. What the industry likes now are the rapid increase in large industrialized operations that provide several 40,000 lbs. tankers per farm per day. These operations will provide the needed milk to keep manufacturers at near or full capacity.
