I will be away fishing when the sale is on. There will be a daily report on the NAFA site: www.nafa.ca/If someone would link the daily reports here daily it would be very appreciated. Good luck with your fur sales to everyone with fur on the sale. Lotting letters should be up mid week as the grading is completed and catalogs are finalized.

Red fox prices were off 25-30% from the feb NAFA sale. Not pretty...tomorrow could be ugly.

LYNX CATS & LYNX HIGHLIGHT DAY ONE OF NAFA WILD FUR AUCTION NAFA’s Wild Fur Sale opened today with one of the largest and best offerings of wild fur in recent memory.Day One of the Sale was highlighted by a very large quantity of Lynx Cats and Lynx which both sold 100%at advancing prices to strong competition from Greece with good support from Russia, Italy and North America. Sables also sold 100% at higher levels compared to recent sales and at prices that were firm to NAFA’s extremely successful February auction. NAFA remains extremely proud of how its international wild fur promotional efforts continue to generate solid results for its wild fur consignors. www.nafa.ca/wp-content/uploads/NAFA_2012-06-02-WF-EN.pdf

"at higher levels compared to recent sales and at prices that were firm to NAFA’s extremely successful February auction."
I do business with NAFA but their reports are terribly incorrect and misleading. This report reads like something Dave Sollman used to write!!

I sincerely hope some stuff moves private treaty in the next few days. Way too many buy backs on my account. Looks to be mostly my better end stuff.

Whats frustrating is seeing $125 or more difference in lots of cats with the same exact grade. You can make or lose over $100 just by chance of which lot your fur was in. Its the nature of an auction I know...but still aggravating

It couldn't be quite that bad Robert. Sollman and Wills were selling snakeoil and worthless videos and "White Papers", not fur.
