Had an ADC skunk job yesterday, at a place with no incidentals to worry about.
She had dug a den under the machine shed. Just skunk sized, so I had to excavate a lot of dirt, to get a 220 in place. I could have used wire as blocking, but some willows were growing in ditch, so we broke off a bunch, then pushed them into the dirt, weaving them into springs and each other, building a roof and side blocking. We then (hey, it was 1 trap) put grass over that, then dirt- man did it look sweet!
Got the skunk this am-
I had to laugh- an old school type set, and it worked to perfection.
Easy money is the best money.......
any one esle have some Rube Goldberg type sets that worked?

are you relocating these beaver? If not, why not use a 330, etc?

NO, NO relocating these are much more forgiving than a 330 in this setting situation for sure. You don't wise up many beaver with these and much larger than a 330.
Between the grass clump and the dam I did take 3 beaver with a 600 and a dive stick this one wasn't playing that game for what ever reason, the hancock made it quick and simple.
