Naw, the man had his own Jackson Hole Rondezvous! Either ran out of freezer space or some trap thief stole the last of his rat traps!

2,400+ rats. Ran out of freezer space actually ran out of some get up and go toward the end. Lost about 11 traps to thieves. It was a great trip hope I can go back again. Cold steel big difference between 400 rats hanging and 400 coon hanging LOL

Nice job, Gary. Hopefully you will be able to go back next year and the greed that absorbed SD won't work its way into ND.

Welcome home Beav. The fact that you lugged all your gear home indicates to me that you are not too hopeful regarding long term NR rights in ND either. You made the decision to invest the tme and effort into the SD and ND rat trapping. I chose to stay here and work for an additional year. You made a good choice and I am glad you are home, safe and willing to share your adventure with your fellow trappers.
I have not talked with Mike lately and will do so soon to see how he did as well.

Ray Charles could catch rats where I trapped. I had traps set for over a month In the same locations and they just kept catching rats. I think they must have been lined up in the cattails just waiting for me to empty the traps.
If all goes well we will have around 2700 rats on this may's sale.

Muskrats are graded in the US Paul.
Being as they are the date can be pushed back a couple weeks. Only caveat is the trapper will be responsible for shipping.

Last receiving dates are not exactly what is posted. FHA picked up some fur for me on Apr. 14 and that was two weeks later than posted also. Jim
