looks like your clips, are the modern and improved version of the old willow branch set-
used to be a stand by set for old school trappers-

It poped up when I seen the green pole set, heard others talking about different versions for under ice. We was going to use stools and some stainless clip for electris fence wires to hold the wooden stools under water the required 2", so I said what who needs wood

  Here is a couple, on with traps, and one with a rat at bottom of pole, empty clip always a good sign. $8 dz, $66 per 100 approx. |

Some states they must be 2" under water in the spring, they will work at or above water level as well.
the same clip will work on jump traps, just put the dog away from the pole and one wire under spring and cock trap at angle

so what all do you get for $8 per. Doz. just the wires? or wires and poles ? I would like to get some for my self and for the Trap shop. and to see what my customer's think of them, might just take a couple 100 of them if they like them and want some.

That's alright with me I'll pay the price, Its just that he don't give you any info on them about any of that so I just thought I would ask. I' bet them poles are $3 a piece around here.

He did say "clips" not poles/posts/etc.
Those are 3/8" fiberglass electric fence posts and can be found at any farm supply store like Tractor Supply, etc. Here in the midwest they can be found at Farm and Fleet or Fleet Farm and other farm supply stores. Plus do a google seach for fiberglass posts and one will find 100's of places to buy them from.

Thank you Kelly, I guess I missed that part about just wire's. but that's fine with me. I have all kind of friends that work in fiber glass plant around here that get me things all the time. so all have to do is ask them to get me a couple 100 posted and I'm in.

Those fiberglass stakes are the way to go...as they make a real nice coon drag when they DO find your rat traps. They may take them aways but they won't break them....or even put a dent in them. If in catails or high weeds they tangle up pretty quickly if you attach the trap near the middle.

well evidently he does not want to deal with me anyway. I see he was on yesterday and I didn't here from him. and i think i even sent him a PM. owell I didn't for get how to use my hands and Brain. as a matter of fact they work very well for me when i ask them to.lol.
