Do any of you have any idea what the dimensions should be for otter to grade a xxxl.I sent about a dozen last year that were over 42 inches form head to base and 8 inches wide and only 5 graded xxxl. This year I have about 15 that are going to stretch over the 42 inch mark .It is a big difference in price from xxxl to xl in the grade.I was told that instead of being 8 inches wide at the base the otter needed to be 9 inches wide at the base.If this is true my boards will not get me the extra width because mine are only 8 inches wide.

FHA = same standard measurment as NAFA with the exception of larger stretchers at NAFA. That must = more lenght for larger otters using FHA otter stretcher and of course, selling them to FHA. www.furharvesters.com/pdf/boardzises-dim.pdf

Steven I looked at this years catalog and you were right there isn't much difference last year it was with my otter grade and the year before.I was also told the 42 inch otter was the xxxl but that wasen't the case with me last year or the year before. You may be coorect on the grader statement.Maybe Beav will see this post and give his input.
