If anyone has any bobcats that they would be willing to let loose of this late in the year I'd appreciate the help. I'd prefer a large male, in the carcass. I'll take what I can get, but it would at least have to be a green pelt. I also need some skulls if there are any without holes out there, I know how that goes. I didn't get a chance to catch one this year, our quota was filled quite fast and I don't live in an area near where they are permitted to be trapped. This is all for my mammology class, we tan the hide and put the bones in with beetles to remove the flesh and reassemble the skeleton. We would also like to know the gps coordinates where you caught the animal and set type if so used. I am also interested in fisher, wolverine, otter, or marten. Now I don't have to have the whole animal if you don't want to give up the pelt, I would settle for the carcass, but the bobcat is pretty high on the list for right now. Anyone that has any questions please let me know, but I need these as soon as we can please and thanks for your help, and if you have pictures of said animal in set that would be awesome to have for our study.
Thanks,
Marc Thurman

Contact the IA DNR they are more likely to let go of one for a study than a trapper who can sell the thing for $$

I never said I wouldn't pay for the pelt, I just need to find someone who has one. Also most people just toss carcasses awaway so I didn't think I was asking for much then. By the way I have given fur away for this same cause in the past so some people are willing to do that for the right reasons.
