What knife do you use and why? I have a mixed bag to put up. Coons, coyotes and a few fox. I have an old beat to hell one but I have decided to get some new fur handling equipment. Also, I want to switch to all boards for my critters. Who sells and makes good boards for the above listed. Thanks -Matthew

I like the zeph because the dull side has a square back. I think it is easier to push coyotes this way, has somewhat of an edge. If you need to use a slicing motion- you can without flipping to the very sharp side. Others may have it also, but I saw this one first and am happy. I think $60??? I wish it had round handles though.

Necker. May not be the best, probably not the worst, but once you get the feel for whatever knife you use, it'll become your favorite. With the price each kind demands, I, for one am not going to buy many on a trial basis.

Heck, I may as well throw in my 2 cents and really confuse you.
I like my caribou.
Seriously though, it doesnt really matter, just buy a good one.
I have a zeph as well, its a good knife.
I've never tried a necker but they are good I know as I have buds who like em.
