I know what i have seen while hunting and i have only seen cats moving as the light is dim, evening and morning. is there a time of the night that they lie down like they do during the daylight hours? just wondering if the have done a study of cat movements!

my theory is only based on years of trapping them in eastern kansas...
imo
they are highly efficient predators that do not have to work hard to find a meal.... they move... and feed as needed to eat.. toms looking to mate are the exception.... as temps drop and food becomes scarce they have to eat thus we the trappers shine on catches....
no research here no documentation here just experience
