If anyone cares,
sold 20 mink to Groenewold, the buyer was Mike.
These pelts were finished on wood.
10 females
10 males
Caught in the middle of November.
Males
4 @ $25 4 @ $20 1 @ $15 (many tick bites) 1 @ $3 (cotton)
$19.80 avg on Males (includes 1 cotton)
Females
7 @ $15 3 @ $7 (more slate)
$12.60 avg on Females
Also sold a 2X cream leathered coon for $17.
Have more mink to sell, and should have higher percentage of males next sale.
So for what it's worth....

throw that cotton out, and thats a good average on mink. I averaged $19 on males with a couple damaged with bite marks- an oddity there, don't get many of those ever, yet alone 2 in one sale.
I cannot remember the last time I got a cotton mink- seemed like 40-50 years ago, we (me and dad) always had a few cottons every year. I wonder if thats because I don't set any mink traps until end of november? do cotton mink, have less chance of winter survival?
Did you sell him any canines?

Have not sold any coyotes yet.
Im good for a cotton mink or 2 a season, no trend in where I catch them either. I can catch 2 good colored mink and then catch a cotton in same set. Random at best.
