canine curiosity ?

If I took a 2"x2" piece of fur, wired it to the pan, slightly covering it with dirt, at a lured set, would the fox/coyote touch it with his nose, or his paw?
Lure not on the fur?
Lure on the fur?
I'm just wondering if you would get a scratching reaction, a smelling reaction, or a rolling reaction?
I'm sure lure type, would cause one reaction over the other?

It works.
Don't put it on the trap pan!
